Custom framing by a professional craftsman specialised in pastel framing. The frame does not touch the pastel directly, which cannot stand direct contact; a gap is left between the work and the plexiglas.
I chose plexiglas because it is a much lighter and more portable material than glass; the transparency is the same.
Pastels do not like direct sunlight.

Giraffes have always fascinated me. I admire their graceful beauty, the wonderful patterns on their bodies, the way they look down on us. I like to pay tribute to them by painting them.
