Custom framing by a professional craftsman specialised in pastel framing. The frame does not touch the pastel directly, which cannot stand direct contact; a gap is left between the work and the plexiglas.
I chose plexiglas because it is a much lighter and more portable material than glass; the transparency is the same.
Pastels do not like direct sunlight.

The depth of this bear’s gaze. I want to follow him into his world.
I was attracted to bears for a long time before I discovered that they were the first totem animals I connected with. We can indeed have several totem animals and they can also change over time.
I know that I am surrounded by many totem animals in my daily life, which is certainly one of the reasons why I feel the necessity to bring them to life in my paintings.
Je sais être entourée par beaucoup d’animaux totem dans mon quotidien, ce qui est certainement l’une des raisons pour lesquelles je ressens la nécessité de leur faire prendre vie sur mes toiles.
